The Economist has a front page on Trump I haven’t read yet, but just listened to a long interview from their podcast.

Well to remember he is trying to play nice, yet the interviewer is only allowed to start getting questions in at the end.

Additional observations: Blames the American manufaturing off-shoring in the destination countries, apparently CEOs were helpless pawns, which is not what is in my memory banks. Only powerful he is willing to bad mouth were all politiciabs and hedge fund managers.

Trade protectionist through tariffs, apparently sees no reason you would offer preferred trade to friendly countries.
