SF New Mexican: Salazar proposes potash, oil and gas plan for NM.

“Salazar says advances in technology will allow for “drilling islands” within a 625-square-mile area that was set aside decades ago for potash mining.” Boy, that’s going to be lovely. Our own version of the Alberta tar sands, sounds like.
